- This is an announcement that the Bureau of Land Management, Bakersfield Field Office has a requirement for STABILIZATION of PIEDRAS BLANCAS LIGHTHOUSE located in San Luis Obispo County - Furnish labor, equipment, supplies, transportation and materials necessary to remove, contain and dispose of existing lead base paint (LBP) from the interior and exterior surfaces of the Piedras Blancas light tower. Prepare the interior and exterior tower surfaces for recoating. Recoat interior and exterior tower surfaces. The Solicitation will be available for downloading on or about Aug. 19, 2011, at www.fedconnect.net, search by opportunity under reference number L11PS01151.
