- Davis-Bacon Act Wage Rates Construction Clauses SOW This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for construction services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Contractor is to remove and replace carpet on Five (5) Coast Guard owned houses as per the attached Scope of Work. Houses at Port Lavaca, TX located on: 1.817 Westwood Dr 2.1712 Jackson St 3.2105 Jackson St 4.2107 Jackson St 5.1711 Jackson St Contractor is to perform a site visit to get exact measurements and to assemble an accurate list of materials needed prior to approval of contract. Schmitz (504) 253-4796 Andre.L.Schmitz@uscg.mil Period of Performance shall be 2 weeks from the date of award. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is HSCG29-11-Q-PNH073. This combined synopsis constitutes a solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2007. This acquisition is a small business set aside. The NAICS is 442210. The contract type will be a firm fixed price construction order. The government proposes to solicit from the attached scope of work / or / quotes for the attached items. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clauses and Department of Labor Wage Rates for contruction are included in this order and are applicable under the authority of FAR 22.407(a). Vendors doing business with the Coast Guard must be registered or be willing to register with the Central Contracting Registration at www.ccr.gov.
