- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Franchise Fund Simplified Acquisitions Office, intends to negotiate a sole source purchase to DINO-Software Corporation (VA 200-12-RQ-0046) for software support, license renewal and maintenance services for its Real Time Defrag (RTD) software products in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements). This is for the support of the DINO-Software Corporation software products used by Department of Veterans Affairs, Corporate Data Center Operations. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement or by submitting a proposal. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all proposals received within five (5) days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Offers may be submitted via email to robin.matteson@va.gov. The anticipated award date is September 9, 2011.
