Description
Questions to Solicitation TIRNO-11-Q-WPG00 We will need the addresses to ship to calculate our shipping costs, please provide? Answer: The shipping locations are all with the CONUS, the furthest shipping location would be Hawaii. Some locations are business addresses and some are residents. Are any of the addresses personal/non-business addresses? Answer: Yes there are some residents and some business shipping locations. As a small HubZone business we would like net 20 terms upon shipment date. Answer : You may submit your payment terms and they shall be considered when the bid requirement closes. As a small business can we invoice weekly for units shipped? Answer: Standard invoicing for federal service is normally monthly. Can the end uset take the unit out of the cardboard shipping box and plug it into a power outlet? If not, is there any requirement for onsite set up and training. Answer: The request item is commercial off the shelf, this is a personal shredder that should not require any assistance with setup. There is no need for onsite set up or training each unit should come with an instruction manual. 6. Is there any restriction on size or weight? Answer: No. 7. Would 45 days after ARO be acceptable for delivery completion, assuming some units will be delivered the first day after award and the rest phased in over the next six weeks. Answer: You may submit your proposal with your terms for delivery and all reasonable offers will be considered. The requesting department will assist with the final decision on what is an acceptable delivery timeframe based on their overall need. 8. Could Treasury provide a list of the city, states and zip codes for the locations that will need shipment to so as to price accurately the cost of shipping for response to this solicitation? Also should we assume that every location is a residence? Answer: Unfortunately, I can not provide actual shipping locations due to my need to protect the individual employees, only the winning source will be given the specific ship to locations. Some locations are private residences and some are business locations all are within the CONUS and you may base your shipping fees on that information. 9. What is the acceptable page shredding capacity for these shredders? Answer: The customer will consider a shredder that shreds between 10-14 pages at a time.
