Description
PURPOSE: The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to conduct market research which will be used to formulate an acquisition strategy to support the Command Chaplain. The Regional Contracting Office-National Capital Region (RCO-NCR) is requesting responses from all concerns. The qualifying code for this effort is NAICS 813110. The Command Chaplain, Marine Corps Base, Quantico (MCBQ), VA has an urgent need for a Roman Catholic Priest to provide weekly services in the area of pastoral, educational, and liturgical ministry to Roman Catholic personnel, both civilian and military, who live or work aboard the Base. Objectives for the requirement include: (1) Providing the sacraments of the Roman Catholic Church on a daily basis, also on the weekends, to include celebrations of the Eucharist, Baptism, Marriage, Reconciliation, and Anointing of the Sick; among others; (2) Overseeing an extensive Religious Education Program in coordination with the Director of Religious Education; (3) Processing all rests for marriage preparation and for wedding ceremonies at the Base Chapel; (4) Preside as required over memorial services and funerals at the Marine Memorial Chapel, and any burials that may take place at the Quantico National Cemetery or at cemeteries located on the Base itself; (5) Attend meetings relevant to the daily operations of the overall Command Religious Program; and (6) Maintain appropriate, regular contact with the Archdiocese for the Military Services USA in Washington, DC, which is the sponsoring ecclesiastical agency for Roman Catholic Ministry aboard all military installations. Responses to this RFI shall not exceed ten (10) pages, including cover letter and contact information. Subject response must contain: (1) Identification of business size, to include Cage Code, if available; (2) Capability statement that includes capabilities and experience related to the objectives and competencies identified above, corporate or individual personnel experience is acceptable; (3) Price Schedule; (4) other relevant material relating to the objectives. NOTE: Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these services; issue a solicitation; nor notify respondents of the results of this RFI. No solicitation documents exist at this time. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this RFI and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information the Contractor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such.
