- Description
- This is a notice of intent that WRALC has issued a solicitation for the acquisition of a Vertical Sling Test Apparatus custom built to meet our applications using Far Part 15 procedures. The unit must be complete, calibrated and ready for immediate operation after installation is completed. The critical features of the test apparatus will include a finished concrete test bed, a freestanding runway and support system, multiple precision test units each with load cells, and an operator control booth housing a standalone computer system (processor, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and printer) with a wireless data system to record test data. The structure (excluding footings) must be designed to fit within a prescribed area approximately 27 ft X 47 ft, with a maximum allowable height of 20 feet (including gantry and hoist). The gantry assembly will be electrically powered and driven by variable frequency drives along the X and Y axes of the unit. Please see attached solicitation and purchase descriptions.
