Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to modify Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract N00019-08-D-0009 with Robertson Fuel Systems, 800 West Carver Road, Suite 101, Tempe, AZ, 85281, to increase the contract ordering ceiling. This contract provides auxiliary fuel tanks and associated hardware for the V-22 Osprey aircraft. The purpose of this increase is to provide uninterrupted deliveries of auxiliary fuel tanks to the fleet while the follow on contract is in the process of solicitation and award. The ceiling totals will be increased from 120 tanks and associated hardware to 144 tanks and associated hardware. There will be no change to the period of performance which runs through December 31, 2012. This contract action is using other than competitive procedures because there is only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), and implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
