Description
This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. MODIFICATION 01: The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division has a requirement for radiation effects program services. This procurement is to provide facilities and engineering support for radiation effects research and acceptance testing of electronic components. This contract will support the Trident II D5LE program, Air Force Minuteman Missile System, Missile Defense Agency, and any other Crane-supported Department of Defense (DOD) system. A three-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, Firm-Fixed-Price and Cost Reimbursable contract will utilize FAR 15 procedures. FOB Destination procedures will be followed. The procurement will be negotiated on a sole-source basis with Indiana University, 2401 N Milo B. Sampson Lane, Bloomington, IN 47408, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. To be eligible for award, contractors must be properly registered in the Government ™s Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at www.ccr.gov. This contract action is restricted competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Therefore, a formal solicitation will not be posted for download. Requirements documents are available upon request. No hardcopies of the solicitation will be mailed. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation. Submitting a bid from the NECO website by clicking on “Submit Bid- does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format. It is the responsibility of the offeror to submit offers via email to the POC at NSWC Crane.
