Description
VA Fargo Health Care System, Fargo, North Dakota is seeking potential firms that have the performance capability for Project 437-11-155, Liquid Oxygen Tank Site Prep. Contract completion date is 90 days after notice to proceed. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) contractors. The estimated dollar value is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $33.5 million. A 20% bid bond will be required at submission of bids. Performance and Payment bonds will be required within 10 days of contract award. To be eligible for award, SDVOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in the following sites: www.vetbiz.gov, www.orca bpn.gov and www.ccr.gov. Provide all material, labor, equipment, etc. necessary to complete the construction of VA Fargo Health Care System project 437-11-155, Liquid Oxygen Tank Site Prep, in accordance with the contract documents. The construction requires that the new concrete pad, utility rough in, utility reroutes, foundation/retaining walls and fence shall be in place in accordance with the requirements of Linweld for the set up and installation of the new liquid bulk oxygen tanks. Once the new tanks are installed and operational, the contractor shall remove the old liquid bulk oxygen tank and then proceed with demolition of the old pad, brick wall, utilities, etc in order to prepare the site for filling in the remaining area up to the corner of the building with a fenced concrete pad. The contractor shall provide all civil, mechanical, and electrical work associated with the installation of the liquid oxygen tanks, except for those items specifically to be provided or performed by Linweld. This shall include the rerouting of any underground utilities determined be within the construction zone. All work shall be in compliance with all applicable NFPA, NEC, Life Safety Code, UFAS, OSHA and other pertinent code requirements. This solicitation is anticipated to be available on www.fbo.gov on or about 29 August, 2011.
