- SYNOPSIS FOR VERTICAL MACHINING CENTER MACHINE DLA Maritime “ Puget Sound & IMF is issuing a solicitation and subsequently a Firm Fixed Price contract for Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) Vertical Machining Center Machine (Haas Vertical Machining Center, Model VF-5/50 or equal). Requirements: CLIN (0001) CNC Vertical Machining Center Machine; CLIN (0002) Installation and Set-up Services; CLIN (0003) On-Site Personnel Training; and CLIN (0004) Operator/Maintenance/Repair Manuals. Delivery: F.O.B Destination The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333512. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED and all qualified quoters may submit quotes. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website https://www.neco.navy.mil/. Prospective quoters are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the quoter to access the posted documents. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. The solicitation shall be posted on or about 12 August 2011 with a response date of on or about 12 September 2011. The buyer will NOT provide a hard copy of the Solicitation package. Quoter must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database before an award can be made to them. If the quoter is not registered in the CCR, it may do so through the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov.
