SOLICITATION (CLOSES 08/22/2011) Amendment 0001: This amendment is being done to extend the closing date through 08/22/2011. All other terms and conditions remain the same. The U. S. Department of Commerce (USDOC), National Marine Fisheries Service located in Woods Hole, MA., has a requirement to remove and replace lavatory fixtures. Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment and supervision to upgrade all Water Closets and Urinals to High Efficiency Systems at the NMFS/Northeast Fisheries Science Center located at 166 Water Street Woods Hole, Ma., in accordance with the manufacturer's most current specifications and details to ensure the requirements in the contract documents are met supporting the best practices as recommended by the manufacture, NEC, BOCA, NFPA, UL, ASTM. Removal of existing water closets, urinals and plumbing fixtures. Install approximately 7 new high efficiency urinals and fixtures with low consumption 1.0 gpf/3.8Lpf Exposed, Battery Operated, Sensor Activated Flushometers. Install approximately 18 new commercial, high efficiency, elongated front rim, ADA height water closets and fixtures with low consumption 1.6 gpf/6.0 Lpf Battery Operated, Sensor Activated Flushometers. At completion of work the contractor will test and assure all new water closets and urinals are fully functional and operate according to manufactures specifications. Completion time for this project is 30 calendar days after award. This is a total small business set-aside. Estimated Construction cost is between $0 to $25,000.00. Award will be made based on best value to the government. The Request for Quotation documents will be available in approximately 10 calendar days after this posting and can be uploaded from this website.
