- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER SPRPA1-11-G-001Y The Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane has a requirement for spare parts in support of the MH-60 Helicopter Platform. The Government intends to procure on a sole-source basis with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06614. No formal solicitation will be issued. The procurement will include: 57 Nose Mounts, 57 Nose Mount Fairing, 57 HCU Jumper, 57 Molded Cable, 57 Molded Cable, and 2 External Weapons Systems Left. These components are proprietary to Sikorsky. Procurement under the contract will be conducted on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements through a 5-year Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) SPRPA1-11-G-001Y. Inspection will be made by DCMA at Origin, Acceptance will be at Destination. The basis for restricting competition are the proprietary rights of Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation and the duplicative costs to the Government to utilize another source to satisfy the Government ™s requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
