The National Park Service contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract, as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation, to the responsible, technically acceptable quoter, whose quote, conforming to the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation, offers the lowest evaluated price. AMENDMENT 0001 8/16/11 PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS PART 1 GENERAL 1.1 DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS A. General. Supply 7200 W 120 VAC inverter system and power center with two compatible charge controllers. Supply thirty 235W (minimum) Solar Panels. B. Delivery Location: Deliver equipment to Arches National Park Headquarters 6 miles north of Moab Utah 84532. Deliveries accepted Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. No deliveries accepted on Saturday, Sunday or Federal Holidays. Contact John Lewis at 435.719.2152 or Tome Johnson 435.719.2250 for directions. C. Period of Performance. The period of performance for this project is 30 calendar days from award. D. Warranty. The inverter and all components shall have a minimum 2 year warranty. The charge controllers shall have a minimum 5 year warranty. The Solar Panels shall have a 10 year limited warranty of 90% power output, 20 years limited warranty of 80% power output, and 60 months minimum workmanship warranty. E. Solar Panel Certification. Provide signed letter from the manufacture that all panels are new and not re-furbished. This letter is not required until after award, but before solar panel delivery. F. Packaging. Panels shall be palletized for ease in off loading. 1.2 SUBMITTALS A. Product Submittals. Submit electronic cut sheets (in PDF format) of equipment salient features and warranty documentation with the quote for the following equipment only: inverter/power center, charge controller, and solar panels. Quotes that do not include this information will not be considered. If more than one product type is listed on the cut sheet, the product to be supplied must be noted on the cut sheet, or called out on a separate sheet.
