Description
***ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE OF COMPLETE SOLICITATION AND SPECIFICATIONS ELECTRONICALLY IN FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES IS SEPTEMBER 1, 2011. *** The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities (except as otherwise specified), to perform the Statement of Work/Specifications. Work includes but it is not limited to the following: This project consists of properly abandoning 3 wells at different locations. Work includes removal and disposal of an old shed and concrete slab in the Siuslaw National Forest. Additionally, a portion of a shingle roof may need to be removed to gain access to one of the wells. If so, the roof shall be repaired to match original conditions. Well abandonment includes, but is not limited to, preparation work (e.g. de-energizing and disconnecting electrical systems), pulling of the casings, filling with cement grout or concrete, and final finish work. All work shall be performed by or under the direct supervision of a licensed and bonded Water Supply Well Contractor in the State of Oregon. The work shall comply with the current Oregon State Water Resources Department regulations for well construction and abandonment. Work shall be executed according to the Specifications and the Statement of Work. This project is located on the Siuslaw National Forest, Benton, Lincoln, and Lane Counties. The Government's estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. A payment bond (100 percent) will be required after award if the award is greater than $30,000.00. Contract performance time is 30 calendar days. Estimated start work date is October 1, 2011. FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION contact Mario Isaias-Vera at 541-750-7070.
