Delivery shall be made to the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, 1900 W. Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri. Any vendor who believes they can meet these requirements shall provide written notification to the Contracting Officer by August 31, 2011, 4 p.m. CST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed and must show competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice will solely be at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Abbott Nutrition. Responses maybe be faxed to (417) 837-1751 or emailed to the cbruner@bop.gov by the response date above.
