Description

SSJ HIGH RADIANCE SPECTRAFLECT LUMINANCE SYSTEM PROPOSED SOLE SOURCE SOLICITATION The solicitation number is FA8601-11-T-0239. The NAICS Code is 334516. The size standard is 500 employees. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The proposed source is LABSPHERE, INC. The vendor (Labsphere, Inc) offers a complete uniform light source calibration system, supporting the research for AFRL/RDS. Due to the advanced, highly specific nature of this research project, Labsphere is the only known source able to satisfy the government's requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotations should be e-mailed to gloria.tiggs@wpafb.af.mil or faxed to Gloria Tiggs, ASC/PKOB, (937) 656-1412 no later than 24 August 2011 at 1:00 pm.
