- Description
- The United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), intends to negotiate a non-competitive contract with Speciality Vehicles in accordance with 41 USC 253(c)(1) and FAR Part 6.302-1. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed purchase order based on responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This sole source award by USFWS is a one-time purchase order that will enable Speciality Vehicles to provide three (3) 8-passenger electric shuttles for drive/field testing at the National Wildlife Refuges. This sole source acquisition meets the conditions of FAR 6.302-1(ii) and is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements can submit related documentation. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement and will be at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer. If no written responses are received at least (7) days (Thursday August 25 @ 2 PM (EST) Eastern Standard Time) after the publication of this special notice, the contract will be awarded without further notice. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) codes for this procurement is 336211, Motor Vehicle Body Manufacturing', 441229 'All Other Motor Vehicle Dealers', 485999 'All Other Transit and Ground Passenger Transportation'. The Product Service Code for this procurement is 2310, 'Passenger Motor Vehicles.' When responding please include a detailed description of your product, outlining maximum and minimum capabilities, and expected delivery timeframce.
