- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00189-11-T-0028. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-53 and DFARS Change Notice 20110725. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The service provider must be able to fulfill a next business day on-site labor. The maintenance contract shall include expedited ordering of parts if repairs are unavailable. Low cost general use consumables should be available for repair. The maintenance contract will include programming and updates to systems such as the AMX and Tandberg equipment. Initial and follow-on adjustments to the equipment and repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and use for the equipment listed above. During the maintenance term, the service provider will repair or replace any part of the equipment which does not operate properly to include maintenance and support to manufacturer warranty coverage on existing equipment and any new purchases. Also perform any preventive maintenance identified while onsite.
