- Sources Sought Synopsis - F1S0AE1179B002 This is a Sources Sought Synopsis. The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), 412 Test Engineering Group (TENG), Edwards AFB, CA is looking for sources with a demonstrated expertise and experience for a contract to provide similar compatible hardware and software products meeting the minimum salient characteristics: Item: Signal Conditioning Amplifier, Qty: 3 each Model #: 0510GA1A4 Manufacturer: Goodrich Sensor Systems SPECIFICATIONS: PRT Compatibility -Ice point (R0) of 50, 100 or 500 ohms -Temperature coefficient (a) of.00385,.00390,.003915 or.003925 Ω/ΩºC PRT Leadwire Connections -Three wire with 0.25Ω maximum leadwire resistance Accuracy- Signal conditioner output will be within ±0.25% of Full Scale (FS) for all inputs. Accuracy is based on Root-Sum-Squared (RSS) summation of the following error components: • Long-Term Stability: 0.05% FS (maximum) • Repeatability: 0.1% FS (maximum) • Linearity: 0.15% FS (based on least-squares method) • Temperature Sensitivity: 0.002% FS/ºC (maximum) • Supply Sensitivity: 0.01% FS/volt (maximum) Momentary Power Interruption: Automatic recovery Signal Conditioner Temperature Range Operating: -54ºC to +71ºC (-65ºF to +160ºF) Storage: -65ºC to +125ºC (-85ºF to +257ºF) Reliability- Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) is greater then 100,000 hours (based on MIL-HDBK-217E). Maintainability No scheduled maintenance. Signal conditioner can be repaired and recalibrated. These items were designed and developed by the manufacturer and the government cannot provide detailed specifications and drawings. The Government intends to procure these items under FAR part 13. The applicable NAICS code is 335999. The size standard, as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration, is 500 employees. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY and is not to be interpreted as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Interested parties who believe they can meet or exceed all of the requirements described in this notice are requested to submit, in writing, appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and other pertinent information to demonstrate that the stated requirements can be fulfilled. Responses must include the following: Name and address; size of business; Cage Code; and whether they are a large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a), HUB-zone, disabled veteran- or woman-owned business Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 4:00 p.m. PST on 25 August 2011. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated for the sole purpose of determining whether to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis or not, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Contractor must be registered into the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DoD activity.
