- Snow Plowing, Shoveling and Removal Services at Eight Land Ports of Entry (LPOE) within the State of Maine SOLICITATION NUMBER: GS-01P-11-BW-D-0120 Notice Number: ME0051ZZ Performance-based procurement utilizing commercial item acquisition procedures for the purpose of providing Snow Plowing and Removal Services at the following eight Land Ports of Entry: Madawaska, Van Buren, Ft. Kent, Estcourt, Calais Ferry Point, Calais Milltown, Calais New Bridge, and Vanceboro, Maine. There are 8 LPOE requiring these services. One solicitation will be issued however, up to five separate contracts may be awarded from the one solicitation. The snow services required comprise roadways, parking lots, walkways, as well as access shoveling of walkways and around Radial Portal Monitors. Services to be provided include plowing, shoveling, de-icing, and clearing of roof tops and canopy of snow and ice, if necessary, at all locations. This procurement will be a twelve month contract. Issue date will be on or about 09/01/2011. Proposal due date will be on or about 09/22/2011. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business qualified companies that are knowledgeable of performing work under NAICS Code 561730 and the size standard is $7 million. The solicitation will be available to download via this website only (www.fedbizopps.gov). Do not use the above notice number for tracking the solicitation. Upon issuance of the solicitation a solicitation number will be provided that must be accessed to obtain any information on this project. All offeror's must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) via the website (https://www.bpn.gov/ccr) in order to be considered for award.
