Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. The Regional Contracting Department, Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), Pearl Harbor Hawaii intends to negotiate an unrestricted sole source contract with Teradyne Technologies. Award will be conducted under the procedures and provisions of FAR Part 12 Commercial Item and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00604-11-T-3178. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-53 and DFARS Change Notice 20110725. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/index.htm. The NAICS code is 334515 and the Small Business Standard is 500. The contractor shall provide one-year product and software technical support for the Spectrum 9100 Test System; Serial Number 0921551. Coverage shall include Hotline and Software Support Agreement (HSSA) with 24 x 7 telephone support, fast parts replacement and repair services, as well as one day response of on-site engineering support and two preventative maintenance visits. Period of performance is 08 September 2011 “ 07 September 2012; Delivery Location is Pearl Harbor, HI 96860. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. All quotes shall include price(s), FOB point, a point of contact, name and phone number, GSA contract number if applicable, business size, and payment terms. Quotes over 10 pages in total will not be accepted by facsimile. Each response must clearly indicate the capability of the quoter to meet all specifications and requirements.
