Description
The Bureau of Reclamation intends to award a requirement for a contractor to execute highly specialized concrete repair services on Government owned, Government operated dams in a multi- state region that potentially covers an estimated 10 - 15 sites. Primary considerations include the ability to execute on-site services with minimal lead time (estimated 14 calendar days), and highly technical qualifications of contractor candidates. The period of performance will consist of a base period (12 months), and one option period (12 months). The estimated total duration of the requirement will be two years. However, any contractor shall anticipate that any requirements would be issued on a short term, interim basis as need to execute the full range of concrete repair services at the dam sites. Requirements could be issued concurrently or sequentially which would necessitate a need for multiple qualified specialist. The projected qualifications for all contractor staff would consist of the following: Minimum of 10 years experience performing chemical grouting operations, including grouting water leaks associated with large civil works and structures (e.g. dams, hydropower plants, etc.) grouting of contraction joints of dams, expansion joints of power plant decks and other structures. Must have experience with numerous chemical grout manufacturers and materials, including polyurethane and epoxy grouts. Must have experience with cementitious grouting materials. Minimum of 10 years experience performing concrete coring on dams, spillways, diversion structures, retaining walls and other structures. Minimum of 10 years experience performing concrete repair operations using dry pack, replacement concrete, and prepackaged cementitious repair materials. Any firm that believes it can execute the pending requirement is encouraged to obtain a copy of the Request for Proposal from the Contracting Officer. All contractors requesting a copy of the Request for Proposal prior to the expiration date of the publication of the synopsis period will be forwarded a copy of the Request for Proposal. Please note that based on how Fed-Biz Ops posts a synopsis, the "Post Date" is the first day of the synopsis publication, and the "Original Response Date/Current Response Date" equates to the expiration date of the synopsis, not the due date of any proposal. Inquiries will only be accepted by Fax at (303) 445-6345, Attention: Ann R. Manning. Responses should include the firm's business size [e.g. small business, other than small business] in accordance with the size standard: $7 Million for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 541990.
