- The Defense Logistics Agency Contracting Services Office-Battle Creek has a brand name requirement for HP Network Automation Device Licenses and Maintenance. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The DLA NOSC is in need of purchasing 500 (10 packs of 50) additional HP Network Automation (NA) Node licenses to conduct performance monitoring of network equipment and servers located in the DLA Field Activities, and provide 9x5 support for the licenses to include updates, patches, and fixes and telephonic support. This is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) SP4707-11-Q-0100. Place of performance is Columbus, Ohio. Inspection, acceptance and F.O.B. are at destination, Columbus, Ohio. The single evaluation factor for award is lowest-price, technically acceptable. The resulting contract or order will be firm-fixed price. This requirement is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 511210 and size standard is $25 million. This requirement is being offered on a brand name only basis, substitutes will not be accepted. In order to be considered technically acceptable, vendors must offer the items described below. Offerors shall provide a price for each contract line item number (CLIN) in their quote. Offers with quantities of less than requested or products that differ from those requested will be deemed technically unacceptable. This request will increase the number of license DLA currently has in the environment. Furthermore, the additional licenses will be used in conjunction with the Hewlett Packard server; the licenses must be Hewlett Packard. No other manufacturer license will work in the HP server.
