- This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation AG-9A73-S-11-0009 is issued as a Request For Quotation(RFQ). This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This is a total small business set-aside and the small business size standard is 100 employees. The North American Industry Classification Code is 423820, Farm and Garden Machinery and Equipment Merchant Wholesalers. A quotation is requested for the item: CLIN 001 - T054R large drum seeder from MOSA (or like kind) for sowing wood plant seed into containers. Unit will have single phase 220V, 60 Hz 1.85 kwh power with 2 hp motor. It will be capable of 75 PSI air pressure with 16 gpm of air. Production speed will sow up to 600 blocks per hour. The unit will have a dibbler and a blowing cleaning bar for each drum. It will include three drums, one for the 112, 160 and 91 hole configuration will have two holes with stainless steel inserts per cavity. Quantity 1 each. Price of seeder to include all shipping and handling costs. Contractor is also required to submit pictures and descriptive literature of item that is being proposed. Required delivery to be made to the Placerville Nursery, 2375 Fruitridge Road, Camino, CA 95709.All deliveries shall be made on regular workdays (Monday-Friday) during regular business hours (7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time), excluding official Federal Government Holidays. Contractor shall have entire order ready for shipment and possession by the Government by September 30, 2011. The provision at 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial Item (JUN 2008) the following addenda are provided to this provision: Paragraph (b) entitled "Submission of Offers", Request for Quotation should be submitted and shall contain the following information: Solicitation Number; Name: Address; Telephone Number of Offeror; Price. Any Discount Terms, Response to non-price evaluation factors and acknowledgement of all Solicitation Amendments. Amendments to the solicitation will be published in the same manner as the initial synopsis/solicitation. Offers may be submitted via mail or facsimile. One contract will be offered to the best value quote made to the Government, considering availability, technical specifications, price and past performance. Past performance as it relates to this RFQ is the end users overall customer satisfaction for supplying this item or similar item(s) to other sources. Please provide past performance references.
