- Combined Synopsis/ Solicitation Ref# 2011-Q-13905 The Coordinating Office of Global Health (COGH), Office of the Director (HCWA) Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is currently seeking sources to provide Conference and Logistics support. This award will be in accordance with FAR 13 using simplified acquisition procedures. The contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor's Registration in order to do business with the government (https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx). To be able to effectively fulfill this requirement, the contractor should be able to plan, prepare, facilitate, communicate, secure (reserve) and negotiate with venue managers. These activities shall include the identification of conference and meeting facilities, negotiation and award of facility contracts and accommodation, obtaining meeting and conference support such as audio visual equipment, computer access for attendees, telecommunication access for foreign visitors, floor-plans, logistics and reservation of blocks for lodging. The contractor shall provide copies of fully executed contracts and agreements entered into with Hotels, Conferences Centers or other venues to the CDC Contracting Officers, Contracting Specialist and the task order COTR. A Request For Quote (RFQ) has been issued as an attachment in this advertisement. Any interested companies are welcome to submit their quote and provide three references via e-mail to UWQ2@cdc.gov. Please include reference number (2011-Q-13957). Please respond by Wednesday 24, 2011. This will be a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order. PROVISIONS/CLAUSES The following Provisions and Clauses are applicable to this acquisition: The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. Vendors are advised to include, in Submission of Quotes, a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 with its offer. The clauses at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items apply.
