- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to award on a sole-source basis to GE Intelligent Platforms Technology Corporation, 1100 Technology Park DR, Billerica, MA 01821-3487 to purchase one (1) Rugged Display Computer, Part Number MAGIC1-422640F1 and one (1) Rugged Display Computer, Part Number MAGIC1-42264XF1 for the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Surface Warfare Mission Package (SWMP) Module. The introduction of any other similar system by any other manufacturer for these applications is not considered to be in the best interest of the Government with regard to configuration, performance and cost. FOB Destination to Dahlgren, VA shall apply. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized in accordance with FAR Part 13. The North American industry Classification System Code is 334111, with a size standard of 1000 employees. The closing date is 26 August 2011. The anticipated award date is 30 August 2011. All responsible parties may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.
