- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) # F4D3D91202AG04. Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. Submit written offers - quote template sheet provided upon request. Oral offers will not be accepted. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (www.ccr.gov). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53 and DFARS Change Notice 20110819. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 561790 and Size Standard $7M apply to this procurement. Project Number: F4D3D91202AG04 Project Title: Clean Supply and Return Registers 1. Quote shall conform to the CLIN structure as established in this synopsis/solicitation. A quote template sheet is available upon request. 2. Quotes shall be valid until 30 September 2011. 3. All questions or comments must be provided to the Purchasing Agent in writing; telephone and other means of oral communication will not be permitted. The Purchasing Agent is Kristin Baily, Kristin.Baily@vandenberg.af.mil. The contract will be Firm Fixed Price with the following structure: CLIN 0001: Cleaning of Supply and Return Registers-Bldg 7000 (Per Statement of Work Below) 1 EA Statement of Work Bldg. 7000 Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, facilities, transportation and supervision necessary to provide cleaning and sanitizing of supply and return registers for building 7000. There are approximately six hundred (600) supply and return registers throughout the facility. Registers are to be removed from ceiling, cleaned (either by heap vacuum or pressure washing), dried, repainted if needed, and re-installed. Clean surfaces around registers if needed and open any closed registers. Loose registers will be secured by the contractor. Missing registers will be reported to the project manager for replacement by the Government. Cheesecloth material will be placed on all registers for two weeks to catch any leftover debris. Contractor will return in two weeks to remove cheesecloth material from all registers and ensure that all supply and return registers along with the duct work is free from any debris. Work schedule shall be coordinated with the facility manager. Estimated period of performance for this effort is 4 weeks.
