- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD 11TC0673 The 802d Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole source firm fixed price purchase/lease order to Olympus America, Inc 3500 Corporate Pkwy, Center Valley, PA 18034-8229 for a Base (01 Oct 2011 - 30 Sept 2012) plus three (3) one year option years. DESCRIPTION REQUIREMENT: Olympus America is the proprietary developer of the Olympus High Definition Video Ortho Surgical Tower and will be responsible for the following equipment to be leased: A. Olympus America High Definition Video Ortho Surgical Tower 48 month equipment lease. i. EVIS EXERA II, CV-180, with standard accessories, 1 ea. ii. EVIS EXERA II, CLV-180, with standard accessories, 1 ea. iii. VISERA PRO Hi Def, OTV-S7PROH-HD-12E, 5 ea. iv. Trueview II Telescope, A70941A, 5 ea. v. Trueview II Telescope, A70942A, 5 ea. vi. Trueview II Telescope, A70963A, 3 ea. vii. nStream G3 SD Single Channel Image Capture system w/o DICOM, IS40250, 1 ea. viii. Keyboard for nStream, IS40022 1 ea. ix. Remote splitter cable for CV-180, IS40088 1 ea. x. ISM-030002 Olympus interface cable, IS40015 1 ea. xi. 24" Flat Screen Sony HD Monitor, LMD-2451MD/HD 1 ea. This purchase/lease will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. However, all proposals received within 3 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 and DFARS Change Notice 20110819, North American Industry Classification System Code 339112 and Size Standard of 500 employees apply to this procurement.
