- Description including part numbers and quantity for JEMPERS DCD THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The 21st Contracting Squadron is searching for vendors that can provide Professional Services- System Support for the JEMPRS-DCD. The JEMPRS-DCD equip consists of three complete kits. Each kit consists of: • DCD-INS-V4 (comprised of) o Router Stack Unit (RSU) Sensitive But Unclassified Portion o Sensitive Enclave Unit (SEN Portion) DCD Mobile Kit Components Component Function Router Stack Unit (RSU)---Provides unclassified network access, access to the WAN, and establishes the Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) tunnel from the mobile system to the base station. Also, provides classified network access and peripheral equipment power distribution. Sensitive Enclave Unit (SEN)---Provides classified network access and peripheral equipment power distribution. External Battery Pack---Provides an alternative DC input for the DCD mobile kits to operate when there is no other power source available. Talon---Provides National Security Agency (NSA) Type-I approved IPSec encryption for the classified network. KG-250 Network Encryptor---Provides National Security Agency (NSA) Type-I approved IPSec encryption for the classified network. Market research is being conducted to determine interest, a capability statement, and responses to the questions below. We anticipate the contract award will be based on lowest price technically acceptable, and best value to the Air Force. The Period of Performance will be 12 months from contract award. Interested parties are requested to submit comments which address the following areas: 1) Is your business categorized as a large or small business? 2) If small, does your firm qualify in other categories? If so, please state which categories such as 8(a), disadvantaged, woman-owned, service-disabled veteran, etc. 3) Does your organization provide the software, service and maintenance support? If so, please advise what it entails. 4) Do you provide credit for return of old/out dated JEMPRS systems? 5) Are the software and support items listed available on your organization's current GSA Schedule or other GWAC Schedule?
