Description

DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Coast Guard STATION MAYPORT intends TO PROCURE CONTRACTOR SERVICES TO PROVIDE TACTICAL COXSWAIN COURSE FOR 20 COAST GUARD COXWAINS. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Coast Guard intends to solicit and negotiate with NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STATE BOATING LAW ADMINISTRATORS (NASBLA) under the authority of FAR 6.302. Coast Guard Coxswains are only authorized to attend two tactical coxswain courses. One being the Coast Guard Special Mission Training Center, and the other being the NASBLA Tactical Operators Course. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
