Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to Carnegie Mellon University, 4800 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, for a quantity of one (1) T-cube Web Interface. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy the Agency's requirements because the software has been developed for the new web portal, therefore it is the only vendor that can provide quality training and evaluation of the utility of T-cube Web Interface in supporting CDC Salmonella investigations. No solicitation is being issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which, if received by the response date, shall be considered by the Agency. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government.
