Description
Attachment 1 THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Solicitation number M2900011TC007 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 and DFARS Publication 20110819. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 921190. This acquisition is for the procurement of an administration specialist, in support of Cobra Gold 2012. Utilizing FAR Part 13 procedures the Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract for an administration specialist from January 2012 to March 2012. The contract requirements for this procurement are outlined in Attachment 1. See Attachment 1 for all applicable provisions and clauses. The basis for award is best value. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: a) Past Performance b) Price Past performance is equally important when compared to price. Quoters responding to this announcement shall submit their quotations in accordance with FAR 52.212-1. Submission of quotes shall include the following: (1) Technical capabilities (2) Resume (3) Price: all pricing quoted shall be FOB Destination. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered by the agency. It is the intent of the Government to issue one award; however, the Government reserves the right to issue multiple awards. Only quotes that will be reviewed are those that can perform in Bangkok, Thailand. Any/all questions on this RFQ shall be received by this office No Later Than September 10, 2011 at 1200 PM Japanese Local Standard Time (JST). The closing date and time for this solicitation is 20 September 2011 at 12:00 PM (JST). Quoter is responsible for ensuring that their submitted quote has been received and is legible. Submit quote to christopher.rabassi@usmc.mil. Failure to ensure that your quote has been received by the Government will not be reason to accept a late quote.
