Description
STATEMENT OF WORK Pr# 10072148 Site Master 2 MHZ to 4 GHZ cable and antenna tester Background: Davison Army Airfield Air Traffic Control (ATC) Maintenance Branch maintains the air to ground, ground to air communications for the Air Traffic Control Tower, Ground radar Approach, Base Operations and the weather section. These communications are critical to the mission on Davison Army Airfield and to the National Capitol Region(NCR). There are 24 separate radio communications antenna systems on Davison Army Airfield which require periodic maintenance in accordance with AR 750-1 and FAA Joint Orders. The periodic maintenance require that the serviceability of the antenna systems thru proper testing equipment. Scope: To have the proper testing equipment for the ATC Maintenance branch Davison Army Airfield to test the air to ground, ground to air communications systems and antennas as per AR 750-1 and FAA JO 6580.5a. Objectives: For the contractor to deliver as by the period of performance the site master antenna testing equipment. Tasks: The contractor to provide the Anritsu Site Master 2 MHZ to 4 GHZ cable and antenna tester/analyzer covering the 25 MHz to 4000 MHz spectrum base station cable and antenna systems. Option 2 and Option 16 extend the lower and upper frequency ranges to 2 MHz and 6 GHz respectively. Accurate, versatile, affordable, rugged and a true handheld at under 5 pounds (including battery), This is required to provide test capabilities for the ATC Maintenance Branch. This test equipment is required to perform testing of the radio antenna systems on Davison Army Airfield and the Pentagon Heliport. This test equipment is required by FAA JO 6580.5a to perform maintenance on the antenna systems for air to ground, ground to air communications facilities Delivery: By ground shipping, deliver Site Master antenna test equipment to ATC maintenance Branch, 8926 Gavin Road, Davison Army Airfield Fort Belvoir Virginia 22060, 45 days after contract is awarded. Government-furnished property: None Security Requirement: Prior to delivery, contact the POC: TBD Place of performance: Davison Army Airfield Fort Belvoir Virginia. Period of Performance: 45 days after contract is awarded. Please see attached solicitation and specs.
