Description
Brand Name Justification for the EMC Replistor Software Renewl Licenses This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is MC-RI-11-0063 and it is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The NAICS Code is 541512 and the Small Business dollar standard is $23.0 million. This requirement will be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order for the Annual Renewal Maintenance and Support for the EMC Replistor Software. A Brand Name Jusification has been prepared and is included as an attachment to this synopsis. Offeror's who believe that they can provide a similar producxt are invited to submit an altternate proposal. All proposal recieved will be considered. The period of performance will be for twelve (12) months. The contractor shall be required to provide services in accordance with the following Contract Line Item Nos. CLIN NO. Product Description QTY UNIT PRICE TOTAL PRICE 0001 EMC Replistor for Windows replicating software, maintenance and support licenses. 87 0002 EMC Networker Server Network Edition-Windows, maintenance and support license. 1 0003 EMC Networker Autochanger Software Module 1-64 slots, maintenance support for License. 1 Delivery of the requested items must FOB Destination and delivery no later than 30 days after the Purchase Order award. The following Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) provisions at 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercials applies to this acquisition. The following evaluation factors will be used for the award of this acquisition listed in descending order of importance: (1) Relevant experience (2) Past Performance in providing similar services of size and scope. Offerors must submit references from customers that have purchased the same or similar product and (3) Price. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with its offer. FAR Clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions -Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. FAR written notice of award or acceptance of an offer mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful Offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference into the solicitation. The Department of Transportation Acquisition Regulation (TAR) clauses 1252.217-74 Subcontracts; 1252.237-70. Quote are due no later than 12:00 p.m. on August 31, 2011. Offeror quote shall be a maximum of 20 pages.
