Description: The proposed contract action is for commercial item, which the Naval Medical Center San Diego intends to solicit this requirement on a sole source basis to W.L. Gore & Associates under the authority of Far 13.106-1(b). Please find attached sole source justification. Solicitation to follow. Salient Characteristics that may satisfy the requirement include: -Heparin Coated and covered stents. -Made out of EPTFE and supported by nitinol wire anchors. -Ability to anchor to the Endoprosthetic surface. -Low profile delivery system (6 french) -Ability to custom make and size graft material to seal an aorta aneurysm that measures over 5cm.
