- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a competitive basis the following Molecular BioProducts and Tegrant manufactured parts as follow: Pipet Tips MBP Part #2749 Art 20L, 960/PK, qty 190; Pipet Tip MBP Part #2769, Art 200L, 960/PK, qty 190; Pipet Tips MBP Part #2779, Art 1000L, 768/PK, qty 190; Therosafe #429, U-TEK Phase Change Materials, -1˚C 8 oz 36/CA, qty 17. All parts are specific to Molecular BioProducts and Tegrant Corp; substitutes or generic brands will not be accepted. Please include any shipping/freight costs for FOB Destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. The order shall be firm fixed price. DFAR 252.232-7003 (Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports) is applicable to this purchase. Pricing should be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6220 Tisdale Road, Suite 159, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.ccr.gov. A formal request for quote will not be issued as all items are identified in this synopsis. Quote is due August 31, 2011, no later than 12:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) with an anticipated award date by August 31, 2011. Quotes may be submitted by Email in Microsoft Word or Adobe pdf format to doritha.newman@navy.mil or by Fax to: 540-653-0592.
