Description
Can any new conduit or electrical boxes be run/installed to feed power to the cameras if installed on buildings or at the dock? ANS: Existing infrastructure should be utilized for power whenever practicable but vendor may include upgrades they deem necessary to be taken under consideration during technical review of proposal. What is the configuration of the lighting systems at the main and engineering buildings, as well as at the dock? ANS: See attached drawings. Can this power be used to feed the cameras? ANS: Yes. 3. What voltage powers the parking lot lighting? ANS: See attached drawings. Do the dock fixed cameras need to be IR also, or just Day/Night cameras? ANS: The dock cameras do need to be IR. Are there any specific software and/or hardware requirements for the cameras, computer, video storage, etc? ANS: Must be capable of recording and storing video for 30 days. Also needs to be able to produce a virtual boundary line for intrusion detection. Is coverage between buildings 108 & 110 required or just the outside perimeter of the buildings? ANS: Coverage between building 108, 110 area surrounding each building and coverage at Station Boat Docks, for boats at the dock and area around the dock. What are the specific encryption requirements? Would 128-bit AES encryption be allowed or would FIPS-140-2 be required, or some other method? ANS: 256-bit is required. What are the allowable Work hours at the site? When we visited the site there was no site security or physical security. Is there any type of control in place for access and/or work supervision? ANS: Normal working hours are 0700-1500, check in with unit's Officer of the Day for access. Is there a staging/laydown area for placement of a work or storage trailer on site? ANS: Yes Are there any badging, citizenry requirements or other personnel clearance issue that will have to be dealt with? ANS: IAW Sections G & H of the Statement of work proper identification of all workers must be distinct and displayed clearly. Each employee of the contractor shall be a citizen of the United States of America, or an alien who has been lawfully admitted for permanent residence as evidenced by Alien Registration Receipt Card Form I-151, or who presents other evidence from the Immigration and Naturalization Service that employment will not affect his/her immigration status.
