- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Gordon, GA intends to execute a modification to an existing Task Order with Analytic Services Inc., 2900 S Quincy Street, STE 800, Arlington, VA 22206-2233. Task Order W911SE-09-D-0003-0004 will be modified to reflect a 6 month extension. Contractor will advise, monitor, and consult on major research projects initiated by the USACIL Training and Technology Division. It is critical to modify this contract so that the contractor's employees can remain in place in theatre. Current Task Order expires on 31 August 2011 and modification will extend the period of performance starting 1 Sept 2011. The NAICS code is 541380. The authority for this non-competitive award is 10 USC 2304(c) (1), Only one responsible Source. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under FAR PART 52.217-8 OPTION TO EXTEND SERVICES. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government and they can be in theatre by 1 Sept 2011. If no affirmative written responses are received by 0800 a.m on 29 August 2011, an extension will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
