Description

The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center-Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with SRI International, 333 Ravenswood Ave, Menlo Park, CA 94025 for continued development, testing, delivery, installation and integration of the Smart Integration Manager Ontologically Networked (SIMON) Services Oriented Architecture platform. A five (5) year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with Firm Fixed Price and Cost Plus Fixed Fee delivery orders is anticipated. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to SRI International, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 'Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements;' because they are the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the SIMON design to allow them to develop, integrate, delivery and implement the SIMON platform in a timely and cost effective manner.
