- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii)This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) W36QZT1199G130. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-52 and DFARS Change Notice 20110629. (iv) This procurement is being issued as unrestricted. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 337215 and Size Standard 500 employees apply to this procurement. (v) The contract will be Firm Fixed Price with the following structure: CLIN 0001 Dip GALV Grating 3"X3/8" smooth top (1831each) CLIN 0002 Storage room shelving for 7 bays (1each) CLIN 0003 C6 Carbon Steel Channe (44each) CLIN 0004 10lbs ABC Fire extinguisher (6each) CLIN 0005 60 gal safety cabinet (10each) CLIN 0006 Hyster E30XN/3k spark proof fork lift (1each) (vi) Requirement Description: "Brand Name or Equal" items accepted, in accordance with DFARS 252.210-7000. Contractor is required to provide a quote in all listed items. CLIN 0001 MSC Industrial Supply Dip GALV Grating 3"X3/8" smooth top (1831each) "Brand Name or Equal". (xi) A statement that the clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the clause. The prescriptive language for this clause is FAR 19.1309(b). HUBZones submitting quotes for this combined synopsis/solicitation should review the clause in its entirety and note the contractor's agreement of the clause under 52.219-4(d)(2): Agreement. A HUBZone small business concern agrees that in the performance of the contract, in the case of a contract for supplies (other than procurement from a nonmanufacturer of such supplies), at least 50 percent of the cost of manufacturing, excluding the cost of materials, will be performed by the concern or other HUBZone small business concerns.
