Description
Mission Contracting Office Fort Bragg (MCO), North Carolina intends to award a sole source basis in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, a contract to CACI, Inc Federal, 14370 Newbrook Drive, Chantilly, VA 20151 for the Battle Command Staff Training (BCST). The contract will provide functional and technical support to meet the demands of the diverse and critical Army Battle Command Staff Training Program. This requirement is for the period of 1 October 2011 through 30 November 2011, with an additional one month option, if needed (1 December 2011 through 31 December 2011), pending award of a long term competitive awarded Task Order for follow-on services/support utilizing the Operations, Planning, Training Resource Support Services (OPTARSS II) multiple award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 541511. This is not a request for Competitive Proposals. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort utilizing full and open competition, based upon responses this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. On 10 June 2011, MCO Fort Bragg issued a draft Request for Task Order Proposal (RTOP) W91247-11-OPII-0002 to the unrestricted suite under the OPTARSS II vehicle. If you feel your firm possesses the ability to provide these services, you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet the requirement. If no affirmative written response is received, this requirement will be awarded without further notice. Detailed capabilities shall be submitted not later than 9 September 2011, 4:00 p.m. E.D.T.
