Description

NOTICE OF INTENT: The VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach FL intends to negotiate on a limited sources basis with Steelcase Inc., 901 44th Street SE, Grrand Rapids, MI 49508-7594 under their GSA Contract# GS-27F-0014V to provide furniture for our Blind Rehab Clinic. This is a notice of intent for Limited Sources procurement under Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). The associated NAICS Code is 337214. This is a Notice of Intent and is not a request for competitive proposals. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than noon, September 2, 2011 and all responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
