- Subsistence Cover Letter Delivery Hours 1st Qtr Food Service Solicitation The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Metropolitan Detention Center, Los Angeles, CA, intends to make an award for subsistence food service items at the Department of Justice, Metropolitan Detention Center, Los Angeles. The contract type is a firm fixed price supply contract. The award will be made to the responsible vendors who submit the most advantageous quote to the Government. This website provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. The solicitation will be available on or about August 29, 2011 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on September 19, 2011 at 2:00 pm Pacific Standard Time. All vendors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website is www.ccr.gov. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. The Government will award to the responsible offer(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government with past performance and price-considered, price being rated higher than past performance. All future information about this acquisition including solicitation amendments will be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure of having the most up to date information about this solicitation. Payments will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or via Government Purchase Card for awards of $30,000.00 or less. All awardee(s) will be notified their award on or about September 30,2011. Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the on line Representation and Certification Applications (ORCA) at 1. http://orca.bpn.gov. Faith Based and Community Based Organizations (Aug 2005) are included.
