Sources Sought Information Technology Management and Services Support W912GB-11-R-0999 THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement and market survey for informational and planning purposes only and IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District is seeking expressions of interest from qualified Contractors to provide information technology management and services support for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Europe District Information Management Office. The requirements under consideration may include some or all of the following, but is not limited to: furnishing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform all information technology management and services tasks and functions. Typical software support to include Windows 7, Windows 2008 Server, Exchange 2010, Blackberry Server, Microsoft Office 2010, Sharepoint 2007 and other U.S. Army approved software. Typical hardware platforms include servers (physical and virtual), routers, switches, desktops, laptops, tablets, handheld devices such as blackberry or other similar email devices, VoIP, and virtual machine infrastructure. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Europe District Information Management Office currently provides support to approximately 330 users located in the headquarters at the Amelia Earhart Building, Konrad Adenauer Ring 39, 65187 Wiesbaden, Germany and with an additional 200 users located throughout other locations in Europe, and the Middle East. Responses are desired from firms who are currently qualified and experienced to perform this type of work in the countries/regions referenced above, but expressions of interests will be accepted from all interested parties. Responses to this announcement shall be limited to three (3) pages and shall include the following information: Company name, mailing address, physical address for any courier service delivery, English-speaking point(s) of contact, email address(es),along with telephone and facsimile numbers. Offeror's CAGE Code from CCR.gov, if any. Offeror's joint venture information, if applicable - existing or potential. Offeror's capability and experience to perform the types of services listed above. Offeror's Level of Security Clearance, if any. Description of experience, if any, with Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Processes (DIACAP). Responses are requested to be submitted to Ms. Laura Patterson at laura.k.patterson@usace.army.mil and Ms. Marilyn G. Jackson at marilyn.jackson@usace.army.mil by 21 September 2011. No telephone calls or faxed responses will be accepted. This Sources Sought announcement shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. The Government will NOT reimburse the contractor for any cost associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of contractors to compete for and perform the resulting contract. Please note that Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Clause 252.239-7001, Information Assurance Contractor Training and Certification, applies to this type of service. Additionally, any potential awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
