Description
1. The Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), Battlefield Airmen Branch (BA) is soliciting information to identify possible sources to provide a cable with connection to the Harris RF Corporation AN/PRC 152 Handheld Falcon III and AN/PRC 117g Radio capable of providing digital data in all modes (188-220, 188-184, HPW, Remote control, and IP). Messaging from computing devices will be provided in Cursor on Target (CoT) Extensible Markup Language (XML) format via an IP interface from the user interface applications. The cable will then turn the data into appropriate format to provide data to the various receiving systems (Variable Message Format (VMF) with A10, F18 and CF18, etc., and HPW, PDA-184 with an IP interface to use applications for data transfer of a variety of data types) as well as the ability to support upgrades to future changes. In addition, the cable should allow a Silynx C4OPS (TAC Ear) side connection on the AN/PRC 152 for voice and radio control simultaneously. 2. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or commit the government to award a contract now or in the future. Submitting information for this RFI is voluntary and respondents will not be compensated. Your response to this RFI will be treated as information only. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. The information provided may be used by the AF in developing its acquisition strategy, statement of work/statement of objectives, and performance specifications. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained within their response. 3. PLEASE ADDRESS THE FOLLOWING: a. Data flow sketch b.
