- List of Snap-on 'or equal' part numbers, including space to enter technical specifications of 'or equal' items and pricing. Required with all quotations. Combined synopsis/solicitation in a PDF Combined synopsis/solicitation in a Microsoft Word document This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Snap-on "or equal" tool boxes for a vehicle maintenance shop. Full details are provided in the attached documents, which include a fill-in spreadsheet listing minimum specifications required. In order to be considered for award, quotations MUST include the following: - A unit price and an extended total price for all items listed on the attached specification spreadsheet. The spreadsheet must be completed by vendors in its entirety and accompany quotation submittals. Failure to submit the completed spreadsheet may result in a quotation not being considered for award. If submitting a quotation for an "or equal" item, a description of technical specifications must be provided in sufficient detail (i.e. salient/physical characteristics, material, dimensions) in the description area of the spreadsheet for each and every listed item. As such, this is an "All-or-None" solicitation whereby all items listed must be quoted-to in order to be considered for award. - Two (2) references to evidence the quality of tools quoted and associated warranty support involving tool replacement. This pertains if the specified brand name is quoted or if an "or equal" item is quoted. The references provided must pertain to recent and relevant performance on Department of Defense (DoD) contracts and/or similar accounts with industrial oriented commercial customers. Recent performance means those contracts or accounts that have taken place within the past three (3) years, and must be for the same brand of tools as quoted for this requirement. Relevant contracts are those that are in similar scope and magnitude to this current requirement. References must include the DoD agency and/or commercial company, respective unit, and specific up-to-date contact details (telephone/email). Failure by vendors to submit references, or the inability to accurately reference points of contacts and respective contact numbers, may result in not being selected for award.
