- Solicitation Package Statement of Work Amendment is to add the complete Solicitation Package and SOW. 1. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), U.S. National Veterinary Stockpile (NVS) for Cold Shipping Systems and Temperature Sensors. 2. This requirement is for full and open competition, the NAICS code is 339999 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. 3.The Government is considering a firm fixed priced, requirements type contract and the duration of this contract will be 1 year base with 4 option year for a total period of 5 years, date of award September 2011 through September 2016. 4. The USDA intends to award a Firm-fixed price commercial contract for this effort This will be a best value procurement. It is anticipated that the formal solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP) AG-6395-S-11-0119, will be released on or about Sept 1, 2011 and posted on this FEDBIZOPPS website. Please download the RFP from this website. 5. All responsible offers may submit an offer to the solicitation. After release, one may download a copy of the solicitation at this site.
