Description

The Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center intends to negotiate sole source procurement with Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), 19 Hagood Ave Ste 505, Charleston, SC 29425. The proposed contract action is for assisting REAP Investigators on VA HSRD Grant Entitled "Patient and Provider Outcomes of E-Learning Training in CAMS. The contractor shall provide qualified personnel and equipment which is proprietary in nature and is utilized only by MUSC, and the experience in interfacing data acquisition and output for the VA study. The period of performance is for base and one (1) option period. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 6.302-(a)(2)(ii)(A)and(B), only one responsible source. This is not a request for quotes. No solicitation documents will be issued. Firms that believe they can meet the VA's requirements must submit proof to the Contracting Officer no later than September 7th, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. local time. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
