- The Lebanon VA Medical Center has a requirement for Project No.VA-244-RQ-0680, Asbestos Abatement. A Firm-Fixed Price Service award is anticipated. Contractor is to remove and dispose asbestos pipe insulation and asbestos pipe fittings utilizing proper glovebag work procedures. Remove and reinstall suspended ceiling system. Reinsulate pipe with fiberglass insulation and pipe fittings with fiberglass insulation with PVC fitting covers. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. A solicitation document will be available electronically on or about September 1, 2011, at the following website: www.fbo.gov. Bidders will search for solicitation VA-244-11-RQ-0680 to access solicitation documents and any Amendments. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF ACTIONS INCLUDING POSTING OF THE SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS. HOWEVER, OFFERORS ARE ADVISED TO CHECK THE SIGHT FREQUENTLY AS THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING AMENDMENTS. The NAICS Code for this project is 562910. Period of Performance is six months. Bidders are advised that it is your responsibility to review and monitor the website frequently to ensure you have the most up to date information, including amendments. All correspondence in reference to the solicitation contents or general questions must be addressed in writing on company letterhead, containing a point of contact, the SOL number, email address, phone and fax numbers and must be addressed to the contracting officer listed. All potential contractors must be registered in www.ccr.gov to do business with the Government and must have completed online Representations and Certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov.
