Description

The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Philips Medical Systems 3000 Minuteman Rd, Andover, MA 01810 for services for installation of 34 Philips Intellivue MP50 monitors, Philips central stations, and perform upgrades to the already existing software. All of the upgrades must be compatible with the current Philips Intelliviue system. The services required can only be provided by Philips and no existing software and installation services have been found to have the capability to perform the necessary service on this integrated turn-key system. The requirement will be subject to follow VA security requirements. Installation will need to be completed NLT October 31, 2011. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Vendors who wish to identify their interest and capability by submitting qualifications to perform services on this as described above must notify this Contracting Officer at Bridget.Kornish@va.gov NLT September 7, 2011 at Noon EST. Upon receipt of the interested parties' notification, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations.
